Photos and Stories

Thank you very much for visiting my blog. Hopefully my photos would allow you to dream a little while creating your own stories around them.

Rediscovering my photos and, especially, remembering their associated stories is what excites me about photography. These stories reappear when roaming through photo archives and clicking on images not viewed in a long time. Reappearing in front of me they quickly remind me about places, people and past experiences.

Reliving many of these experiences and remembering the circumstances why I took a certain photo sometimes remind me what type of person I was, where I came from and how I might react to the same situation now.

In general I like to look at photos sometimes together with friends. Time moves quickly while travelling through common memories and stories can go on endlessly. Remembering happy and exciting moments through photos can turn stressful thoughts on our mind into small afterthoughts.  It can also help keep friends and family together, sometimes across continents. Remembering many we did not see for a long time, rediscovering them on photographs, might lead to reunification.
